Made to Measure
How it WorksLooking for the best fit? We pride ourselves on being able to fit anyone, regardless of their shape and how they identify themselves.
Sizing & Fit
Every garment we make is sewn for one person, to fit them. And because we're making our clothing one piece at a time, we can make size and fit adjustments as each piece is cut and sewn.

Choose the shape you shop. While we pride ourselves on being able to fit anyone, regardless of their shape and how they identify themselves, we do recognize that our customers may shop for clothing categorized as men's or women's, and there are some fit differences they expect. Our male fit is straighter, and the sleeves tend to be about an inch longer. Our female body type has more fullness in the chest, and a darted construction. It also is wider in the hips. Choose the body type you typically shop for.

Normal sizes... Based on our experience in the industry, we've decided on size measurements for the common sizes. For instance, if you know you're a medium, or you're an XL, it's an easy click. You can verify the size by checking our measurement chart, but we're trying to provide the commonly understood "standard" sizes you might expect.

...and in-between sizes... Tap or click on the "Show in-between sizes" toggle, and you'll be able to choose the intermediate sizes, not just the typical XS-S-M-L-XL. We both need these in-between sizes for a good fit. Steven is a "marge," large than medium, but smaller than large. Rick needs a jacket an inch smaller than a typical XL, but 2 inches larger than a Large. Use the size chart to guide you, but we have you covered if you're not built to standard 2" increments!

..and adjustments. Very often, we hear from our customers that they're buying clothing that doesn't fit them well, just to get anything that fits them sorta ok. We have one customer who buys a large to fit her shoulders, and always rolls up too-long sleeves. Another person compromises by not buttoning the buttons because things are never wide enough for her hips. You'll see options to adjust the sleeves, body length and hips an inch larger or smaller as you need.
If you don't know what size you need, or have questions about sizing and fit, or have fit needs we haven't covered here, we'd love to help. Our goal is to make you clothing that fits you, and makes you happy when you wear it. There's a text box for questions on the product page; ask when ordering, and we'll get right back to you. Or email us at hello@dillonmontara.com.
