Our first Chore Coat was hand-cut and sewn in San Francisco over a decade ago. It’s our take on a classic, refined with thoughtful updates: a subtly curved front hem, a tailored 4-piece collar for easy drape, and angled pockets so your hands slip in smoothly.

Constructed with precise single-needle lockstitch felled seams, double-sewn sleeves bound in bias tape, and bar-tacked stress points. The keyhole buttonholes are Reece 101-sewn, and we use durable YKK donut buttons with 2-prong tacks. Unlined, with a single interior left pocket.

Our Bone coat uses an off-white, 12oz brushed, piece-dyed bull denim.The fabric has a soft, luxurious hand and drape and is sewn with off-white thread. We're completing the garment with antique nickel donut-hole jeans buttons with copper centers.

This all-cotton denim chore coat develops character with wear; less frequent washing enhances the natural fading and softening of the denim. For best results, hand-wash with gentle detergent and hang to dry.

When machine-washing, use a gentle cycle, inside-out and buttoned, in a front-loading machine to avoid agitator marks. A short tumble in a warm dryer is okay, but hang-drying is ideal.

If you'll be in Portland, we do offer local pickup at our studio. Just choose that option when you check out.
